Don Aaron Daly of Roseburg, Oregon passed away on December 8, 2015. He was born September 9, 1930 in Drain, Oregon to parents Sheldon Jesse Daly and Mary Melinda Daly. Don served his country honorably in the United States Navy in the late 1940s while stationed out of San Francisco. He later went on to work as a boiler operator and did work in the timber industry. During this time, Don lived in various locations throughout the Rogue Valley to include Medford and Ashland until 1984 when Don moved to Turner after he suffered a heart attack that left him in need of assisted living. He lived at Turner Retirement Home until 2012 until he moved to a Roseburg assisted living community to be closer to family. Don is survived by his daughters, Rose Donella Crain and Charlotte Kay Ferguson. Don is also survived by 3 grandsons, 3 granddaughters, and 12 great grandchildren. A burial service of his ashes will be held at Applegate Family Cemetery in Yoncalla on January 30.
