Barbara Miller

It is with great sadness to announce the death of our dear mother, Barbara Miller, 89, of Middleton, Massachusetts. Barbara entered into rest on March 12, 2023. Barbara was the beloved wife of the late Donald N. Miller, Devoted mother of Faith and Leo Duval of Middleton, Gail Miller of Middleton and Jodi and Ted Reilly of North Reading. Cherished grandmother of Daniel and Sarah Duval, Taylor Duval, Zach Duval and his fiancé, Kate Lipka, Dylan Duval, David Shapiro, Josh Shapiro, Derek Reilly, Caitlin Reilly, Olivia Reilly, and great grandchildren; Addison and Hallee. She was the beloved sister in law to Jackie Miller and the late Bert Miller of Marblehead.

Barbara was the daughter of the late Samuel and Sylvia Perry of New York.

Barbara grew up in the Bronx, New York and met the love of her life while vacationing in Connecticut. After Barbara got married, she moved to Massachusetts where she and Don raised their 3 daughters in a suburb outside of Boston. There she devoted her life to raising and caring for her family. Barbara enjoyed cooking, knitting, crocheting and doll making. She loved spending time and caring for her 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. They were the loves of her life.

Services will be held on Sunday March 19, 2023 at 10:00 am at Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel in Salem, Massachusetts. Interment at Sharon Memorial Park, 120 Canton Street, Sharon, MA. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her honor to St. Judes Children Hospital at stjude.org
