He was born in Roundup, MT to Arthur and Kathleen Krueger before moving to St. Paul as a teenager. He attended the U of M before joining the Army Corp of Engineers during WWII. After the war he continued his education at the U of M and married Vernelle on September 6, 1947. He worked for the Federal Government as a quality inspector for DCAS until he retired in 1977. He then worked for PAR Industries for several more years before retiring permanently. He also taught night school at several local vocational schools. As a Professional Rescue Instructor he spent several years volunteering with Project HASTE (Helicopter Ambulance Service To Emergencies). He was also active for many years with both his sons in Boy Scouts. He was also active with his daughters in Girl Scouts. He was also very active in AARP and held several positions in the WBL chapter. In his spare time he spent time on his beloved mathematics. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vernelle, two brothers, Jim and Joe, one brother-in-law, Bud, one sister-in-law, Genevieve. He is survived by his sister Peg and his children Gordon (Deb), Barb (Donnie) MacLean, Sandee (Arlen) Ubbinga, Warren (Anita) and also Lisa Krueger. His is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation at Wulff Funeral Home, 1485 White Bear Ave, St. Paul on Thursday from 4:00pm-8:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial at Blessed Sacrament Church, 2119 Stillwater Ave, St Paul on Friday at 10:30am. Private Interment at Fort Snelling immediately following the funeral mass.
