Robert was a member of American Legion Post 186. Mr. Bender delivered
Meals on Wheels 5 days a week since his retirement in 1992. The funeral
service will be conducted by Deacon Jim Ghiglione in the Chapel of Hoffmeister
South County Chapel 1515 Lemay Ferry Road on Friday, January 21, 2011
at 1:30 p.m. Interment with full military honors will follow in Jefferson Barracks
National Cemetery. Visitation at Hoffmeister South County Chapel on Friday
