Rita Muniz passed away at her home on January 5, 2017. She was born September 19, 1951 in St. Louis, a daughter of Manuel and Arceline Muniz, nee Alonso. She is survived by a son Jeffery Hahn; four grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a brother, Roddy Muniz. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many. Rita lived her life to the fullest.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 am, Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017, at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, Mo. Interment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4-8 pm Monday Jan. 9.
