Beloved grandfather of Dustin, Zach, Paige and Max.

Brother of Patsy “Sissy” (Jessie) Mills; Linda (the late Bill) Woody; Jimmy (Carol) Howard; Jeannie (Wayne) Motley and the late Don Howard, Cookie (Junior) Svoboda and Judy (Mel) Reeve.

Our dear son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.

Butch retired in 2008 from Universal Printing, where he worked as a bookbinder for over 30 years. After a few years of retirement, he went back part-time to work at Hancock Elementary as a crossing guard and cafeteria aid until this past school year ended. Butch enjoyed spending time with his family and friends hanging out in his garage playing the oldies he loved so much. He also loved the time spent at their property in Woodland Lakes in Sullivan, and could be frequently seen riding around in his dune buggy.

The funeral service will be conducted in the Chapel of Hoffmeister South County Chapel 1515 Lemay Ferry Road on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 11:30 a.m.

Interment will follow in Shepherd Hills Cemetery.

Visitation at Hoffmeister South County on Tuesday 3-8 p.m.
