She was a wonderful mother to Terri (Mike) Chier and Nina (Eric) Zinn, and a loving step-mother to Marie (Joe) Kernell, the late Terri Olsen (Mickey), Michelle (Ken) Kelsay and Scott (Valery) Hill. She was sister to Brenda (Alfred) Miller and Lovell Gant. Beloved aunt, cousin, sister-in-law and friend to many.

She loved nothing more than spending time with family. She led an active life with travel, enjoyed cooking, decorating and golf, but most importantly loved to read and listen to music.
Tom and Betty, as well as their children, are very appreciative to the staff at Delmar Gardens of O’Fallon, MO. They loved her dearly and spoke of her kind and friendly disposition. Rarely did she complain in the years there. She will always be an inspiration to us as she showed courage and dignity.
Betty will be remembered for her loving devotion to her family and friends, her gift of joy and how to find it in small things, and her natural beauty with her hair perfect and nails manicured. She had a fun-loving nature, a keen intuitiveness, a sense of humor and a generous, kind and caring spirit.
