Tyler Matthew Steffey

Tyler Steffey was born June 29th, 1996 and he passed away peacefully on May 7th, 2015. He is survived by his loving parents, Nina and Billy Steffey and his brother Jacob Steffey. In addition he is also survived by his great grandmother Jenny Lucero, grandparents, Charles and Valerie Kennedy and Bill and Donna Steffey. As well as his aunts and uncles Michelle Steffey, Michael Steffey, Jenna Kennedy and Rick Contreras. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends.

Tyler was set to graduate from the Met Sacramento in June 2015. He worked as an IT Intern at his school and was fondly known on campus as “the Tech guy”. He was very witty and well known for his sense of humor. Tyler spent much of his time playing video games and drawing as he was an avid artist. Tyler had a gentle and kind soul. Although he was always plugged into his music and cell phone, he was always available whenever his friends or family needed him. We will think of Tyler each time we take a sip of a cream soda, enjoy a burger or eat some gummy candy. He taught us the beauty in the world and because of him we will pause a little longer to enjoy an artist’s work.
