Sally Kwong

Sally was born on June 21, 1928, in Singapore and peacefully went home to the Lord on July 8, 2010, at the ACC Nursing Home in Sacramento. She was preceded in death by her husband Stephen and son Jimmy. Sally is survived by her daughter Linda (Walt) Yip, daughter-in-law Suchada Kwong, grandchildren Chris (Nikki) Yip, Jon (CeCe) Yip, and Ryan Kwong. Before moving to Sacramento, Sally resided in San Francisco, where she was the owner of Hyde & Turk Market for many years. She was also a very active member of the Cumberland Church. Her giving nature and sense of humor will be greatly missed by family and friends. A wake will be held at NAUMAN'S FUNERAL HOME on Friday, July 16, from 6 - 8 p.m. Private committal will be observed by the family in Daly City, Calif. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Asian Community Center/Respite Care, 7375 Park City Dr., Sacramento, CA 95831, or Yolo Hospice, 1909 Galileo Ct. Suite A, Davis, CA 95618. The family wishes to express its appreciation and gratitude for the care and support provided by their many friends, Hospice and the nursing home staff.
