Lt. Col. Leo Sampanis, USAF Ret, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 2, 2017, after three days in home hospice care. A proud Hoosier, IU alum, and 65-year member of AHEPA, Leo was dedicated to medicine and science, military and public service, education, church community, and family above all - and that family will miss him and his terrific sense of humor tremendously.
