Jack is survived by his wife Geraldine Martin, of Sacramento; sons Jack Leroy Martin Jr and Todd Martin. He is preceded in death by his parents Jack and Lucille Martin, sister Barbara Lomascola, nephew Frank Lomascola Jr, niece Cheryl Eichman and his son Rick Wayne Martin.
Jack was born on September 24, 1934 in Sacramento to Jack Everett and Lucille Annabelle Martin (Garvey). He went to Sacramento High where he met the love of his life, Geraldine Miller, whom he married in 1953. After highschool, Jack began working for Setzer Forest Products, where he worked his way up to management and retired after 55 years. He was a proud member of Union-Tehama #3 (Kit Carson 734)F&AM for 66 years. Over 68 years, the couple welcomed three children into their loving home. Jack set about teaching them hunting and baseball. His children remember him as a driven father who encouraged them to pursue their goals.
Jack enjoyed playing golf, riding horses, hunting, and watching sports. He had a heart of gold and a playful sense of humor. He was a generous and dedicated individual who loved camping and who loved to spend time with family which included five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A private funeral will be held at East Lawn Cemetary. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Alzheimer's Association at https://www.alz.org .
