Chris John Nelson

Chris John Nelson born July 5th, 1960 in Salinas CA, passed away peacefully June 24th, 2020 in Fair Oaks CA. Chris is survived by his two loving daughters Ashley Ma and Samantha Galli, and his granddaughters Charlotte and Gemma. Chris is also survived by his two brothers, and mother. He will be remembered fondly by many friends and coworkers that he made during his 40-year career with Pacific Gas and Electric. Chris graduated from North Salinas High School in 1978 where he was a member of the swim and football teams. He will be remembered as a fun loving, loyal and humble man, working hard to provide for his family; setting an example to those around him. He always had a smile on his face, that was contagious to all.

Chris loved the outdoors, whether it was camping in the mountains, fishing, being near the ocean, or spending a day golfing with his father. He was an avid San Francisco 49er’s fan, loved to barbeque, and above all else spend time with his family. He was an amazing father, who selflessly gave everything he had to his children.
