Wilma Caison Tyson Chambers, 95, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2017 at the Dunwoody Living Center in Atlanta, Georgia. She was born on June 4, 1921 in Bethera, South Carolina, a small community near Charleston. She graduated from Berkeley High School in Moncks Corner . Her early married years were spent in Charlottesville, Virginia where she worked at the University of Virginia Hospital. She also spent time in San Antonio, TX, Las Vegas, NV and Raleigh, NC before settling in Atlanta, GA. She was a gentle person who loved the Lord as well as traveling and sewing. She was loved by many.
Mrs. Chambers is survived by her son, Rick Tyson of Roswell, Georgia and her daughter, Jeane Tyson Shiflett of Richmond, Virginia. Additionally her family includes three granddaughters as well as 3 great-granddaughters and 2 great grandsons. A memorial service will be scheduled in Moncks Corner, South Carolina at a later date.
