Virginia Lou Shockley, 93, of Roswell, passed away on September 26, 2024 after a long and fulfilling life. Virginia was born and raised in Cuba, Missouri, where she met and married her husband of 55 years, Glenn Shockley. She was devoted to and deeply loved by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and friends. She was a long time member of The First Baptist Church of Roswell.
Virginia was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Gussie Stevens, sister, Patricia Osborne, and husband, Glenn Shockley.
She is survived by her children: Randy Shockley and wife, Vipa, Rhonda Davis and husband, John, Renee Lipham, Rodney Shockley and wife, Laurie, grandchildren: Josh Davis, Marie Nelson, Ashton Shockley, Leland Shockley, Blake Lipham, Braden Lipham, John Shockley, Eric Shockley, and Craig Shockley, great grandchildren: Noah Davis, John Davis, Micah Nelson, Alice Nelson, Samson Shockley, Jacob Shockley, Colin Shockley, and Layla Lipham.
A private family service will be held Thursday, October 3rd at Roswell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please donate to The First Baptist Church of Roswell, 710 Mimosa Blvd, Roswell, GA 30075.
