Vickie Ann Page, age 71, passed away on October 8, 2024. She was born on October 4, 1953, to Betty Burge and James Rainwater in Alpharetta, Georgia. Vickie was a lifelong resident of Alpharetta and recently lived with her friend in downtown Alpharetta.
Vickie is survived by her son, Eric Urczyk; her brother, Randy Johnson and Linda Hall; her sister and brother-in-law, Patti and Charles Parrish; her step-siblings, Rick Johnson, Susan Harris, and Candy Askew, along with their spouses; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She loved her family deeply and was always there for them when they needed her.
She was a dedicated mother who had a close, loving relationship with Eric. Her life was centered around him, ensuring his careful upbringing and growth into the smart, capable adult he is today.
Vickie had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. She made friends everywhere she went, even during her travels abroad. She was also one of the mentally strongest people you could ever meet. This was evident through her long health trials and her determination to beat the disease.
Vickie was a member of the Alpharetta First Baptist Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. She loved taking Bible classes and attended five years of study. She enjoyed sharing what she was learning with her family, finding the stories and history fascinating.
Vickie graduated from Milton High School, class of 1971. She was captain of the cheerleading team, and won Miss Cheerleader 1971.
Vickie is predeceased by her husband, Bobby Page; her mother, Betty Johnson; her adoptive father, Al Johnson; her father, James Rainwater; and her brother, Jimmy Rainwater.
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, October 12th from 1:00 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, GA 30076.
Funeral will be a private ceremony with family and close friends.
