Sam Davis Bergsagel died October 9, 2021 in Athens, Georgia. Davis was born August 21, 1996 in Atlanta, Georgia. He graduated from Roswell High school in 2015 and the University of Georgia in 2018 with honors. He was pursuing his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law. He was admired by peers and professors for his commitment to excellence. Davis was a lot of things; smart, hilarious, adventurous, and extremely passionate. He loved to travel, was fluent in French, and was happiest at the family beach house on the Outer Banks. He never met a stranger. He will be remembered for his infectious laugh and contagious spirit.
He is survived by his parents John and Susan Bergsagel of Roswell, Georgia, his brother Parker and twin sister Caroline, his grandmother Shelby Parker of Franklin, Virginia, his uncles and aunts Larry Parker, Karin Bergsagel, Paul Bergsagel, Leif Bergsagel (Marta Chesi) and his cousins Maggie (Will), Hannah, Liza, Bram (Kerry), Ben, Matteo and Marco.
A memorial service will take place at 3 pm on Friday October 15 at Roswell Presbyterian Church, 755 Mimosa Boulevard, Roswell. A Celebration of Life will follow the service at Roswell Historic Cottage, 972 Alpharetta Street, Roswell.
