Patricia Ann Yearby Umesi, better known as “Pat” Yearby and “Trish”. Patricia Ann Yearby Umesi was a beautiful woman, distinguished with the utmost level of intelligence granted by her Creator. She loved Jesus Christ and his Father Jehovah, God Almighty from the depths of her heart and soul.
She was born in Natchez, Mississippi, on June 16th, 1961. She was the fifth child born to the late Bishop William Yearby Sr. and Willie Mae Yearby. “What a blessing she was as an addition to the Yearby’s family”. (Trish) accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior many years ago. She became a mighty witness for Christ. She had a beautiful, charming personality one by which everyone she met loved and adored her. In her world, there was no such thing as strangers. She never met one.
(Trish) was very kind hearted. She held her family in the highest esteem, with love, compassion and consideration. She had a beautiful smile that would brighten any dark room. Trish was so upbeat at all times. If you called her on the telephone, her answering from the other end was as if someone was giving you a big prize. She was a class act that could never be duplicated. OH!! How she loved her children, Chimee and Kaush-Ma and her loving husband Chime.
(Trish) departed this life on March 4th, 2011. She leaves to cherish her memories a devoted loving husband Chime Umesi and two charming, loving and kind sons; Chimee and Kaush-Ma, four sisters and three brother-in-laws. TX., George Yearby and wife Sandra of Lawrenceville, GA., Troy Yearby and Rita Dudley of Norcross, GA., four nieces and one nephew-in-law, Shasity and John Chicos of Aurora, CO., Tranesha Holiday, Ashley Thomas Jalyn Ignot, Leola Goldstein,and Alajah Yearby, nine nephews; Courtney Yearby, Brandon Yearby, Bobby C. Henley Jr., Rasheed Anifowoshe, George Thomas, Johnathan Henley, Caleb Henley, Jamal Shannon and Christopher Dante Yearby Goldsten, five great nephews, Johnathan Dillon, Jacob, Joshua Adam, Joseph Chicos and Razhawn Marquette William Yearby, and three great nieces, Juliana and Justina Chicos, and Razeyana Yearby, five Aunts, three Uncles and a host of loving family and friends. Special thanks to supportive friends Elaine Brown, Sam Burke, Charmaine Francois, and Donna Goldstein.
There will be a visitation for Pat on Friday, at Roswell Funeral Home, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Her funeral service will also be at Roswell Funeral Home on Saturday, at 11:30 am, with entombment in Green Lawn Cemetery.
