Marvin spent most of his youth in Stamford, Connecticut where he graduated from Westhill High School. With family influence, Marvin learned he had a natural talent for auto repair and later attended technical college to pursue this career in New York City. Marvin moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 2005 and spent most of his working career within several restaurants and was most recently promoted to Manager at a Taco Mac location in Roswell.
From car repair to free-hand drawing & painting, Marvin had many talents and was very creative. He always had a love for motorcycles and you could constantly see the biggest smile under his helmet whenever he prepared to take a ride. Whether he was going to work or just a leisure ride with his brother around the city, Marvin loved to be one with the wind on his bike!
Marvin also had a passion for car audio and building sound systems. On any given free weekend, you could find Marvin at a local car show or simply with his brothers doing what he loved most. While he never cared about having the loudest system, he made sure to get the most expensive equipment because Marvin cared about quality.
Marvin was not a man of many words, but he was a man of action. If you needed Marvin, he was there; even if it was just a listening ear. He cared about those he loved and would make sure that everyone was provided for. His most prized accomplishment came from being a father to his son, Gavin Roberson. Marvin lived life to its full extent and will be missed by all who knew him as a son, father, brother and friend.
Marvin is survived by his mother, Patricia Henley Roberson of Roswell, Georgia; his father, Marvin Eugene Roberson Sr. of Stamford, Connecticut; one son, Gavin Roberson of Douglasville, Georgia; two brothers, David Roberson (Dawn) of Dacula, Georgia, and Devin Roberson (Tara) of Lawrenceville, Georgia; long time companion, Brittany Muller; one niece, two nephews, extended family members and friends.
