My name is Ronnie S. Bailey. I am a member of the Drew Hall Brotherhood.  It has been many years since we crossed the halls of Howard University, and lived in Drew Hall.  We all had great memories at Howard. I would like to take this time to give my condolences to you and your family at the lost of your mother.  May GOD BLESS you and your family, and may the love of your mother live on in your hearts.

After the passing of Dr. Phillips,  I had. the honor of sharing many pleasurable moments with Mrs. Phillips. She was so warm, caring, and thoughtful.  She was committed to well being of African American youth. She and Dr. Phillips were staunch supporters of the W.E.B. Du. Bois. Scholars Institute at Princeton University.  Each year since the passing of her husband, she made generous contributions to support the Institute.  She will always have a special place in my heart. I truly loved her.  My prayers are with the Phillips family.
