Margaret Eileen Owens Mion, 63, of Suwanee, GA, passed away on April 23, 2014. Maggie grew up in Beloit, WI, and graduated from Beloit Memorial High in 1969. She loved to shop especially for jewelry, was an animal lover, was a people person and liked to help people, loved to travel and collected anything Betty Boop. Maggie had a big heart and cared so much for everyone’s well-being and only wanted people to be happy and to smile big. She is preceded in death by her husband, John J. Mion, Jr.; parents, Aaron and Carlene Owens and is survived by her son, Joseph Michael Mion; siblings, Brenda (Michael) LeFrois, Dorothy (Darrell) Thomas, Cynthia (Edward) Grace, Michael Owens; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and great nephews. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on April 25 and from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on April 26 with the funeral to follow at 2:00 pm all at Roswell Funeral Home.
