She was the beloved wife of Blair Simon Parrott, Jr., mother to Katherine Parrott Wright (Brian) and Jaclyn Parrott Johnston (Blake), and grandmother to Joanna & Penelope Wright and Bennett & Simon Johnston.
She is preceded in passing by her parents, Aurelius Anthony Magas, Sr. and June Gardemal Magas.
Born in New Orleans, LA on July 1, 1958, she was a cherished sister, carer of many animals, and was voted Neatest in her senior class. She met Blair while still in high school, and they wed in December, 1979. They settled in Marietta, GA to raise their family. She served as PTA president of her daughters’ elementary school, as well as team mom, room mom, and volunteer for all of their activities. She and Blair moved to Roswell, GA following his retirement, where she spent the last ten years enjoying her family and playing with and doting on her grandchildren. She was an accomplished cook, reader, and needlepointer, and a generous, compassionate friend to all.
A service will be held at St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church, Roswell, on Dec 6 at 2:00pm, followed by a Celebration of Life at Kimball Hall.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to the MD Anderson Cancer Center in her honor.
