John Alan Clark, 68, of Roswell, GA, died suddenly August 23, 2011. John was born on September 9, 1942, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, to Alice and Jack Clark. He grew up in Dania, Florida, and served in the U.S. Army. He graduated from Florida State University and received his law degree from Woodrow Wilson School of Law in Atlanta. John was the senior partner at Clark, Mascaro and Aziz, PC, in Atlanta. John was definitely a force of nature. He loved life and lived each day to its fullest. He never met a stranger and was beyond generous to his friends and family. He was absolutely larger than life, and he was the glue that bound together his legions of friends and his adoring family. John had a great love for Florida State University football and Atlanta Braves baseball. Whether they were winning or losing, he was always in the stands. He also had a passion for racehorses and owned several, some of whom actually won races. He was a world traveler and an avid tennis player. John is survived by daughter Kelly Rose and husband Andrew, son Corey Clark and wife Shanna, beloved grandson Brady Alan Clark, sister Merhia MacDonald, soulmate of 22 years Deborah Jackson, nieces Laurel Barnes , Jan Sabala, and Jill Toolan, former wife and lasting friend Sharon Clark, and several great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 3:00 - 3:30 P.M. and the Celebration of John’s life will be held at 3:30 P.M.,Saturday, August 27, 2011 BOTH at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, GA 30076 (770) 993-4811.
