Ms. Elizabeth “Libby” Dickenson Pritchard, age 64, of Alpharetta, Georgia passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022. Libby was born on September 6, 1957 in Charleston, West Virginia, the daughter to Andrew and Betty Pritchard.
Libby graduated from Cypress Lake High School in 1975 and graduated with an Associate degree at Albany Junior College. She became a dental hygienist and independent contractor for several years.
Libby was known for her smile, beauty, fashion and grace. She could light up a dark room with her presence. She never met a stranger and had a genuine care for people and animals. She rescued all kind of animals in need. She had a knack of connecting with people and was a fun person who shared her heart with everyone. In her spare time, you could always find her tending to her beautiful collection of flowers.
She met the love of her life, Mark, and it was love at first sight. She always told Mark, “God placed you in my life for a reason.” Libby and Mark loved each other dearly and shared in countless of memories in their five years of dating. They were engaged to be married and a true definition of a love story. They were inseparable and Mark stayed by her side until her passing.
Libby loved the Lord and loved her family. She enjoyed having her family and friends around. She was a wonderful and loving soulmate, sister, aunt and friend. Her life, along with her beautiful smile, style, grace and spirit will forever remain in the lives of all who knew and loved her.
Libby is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew B. Pritchard and Betty Louise Pritchard. She is survived by her soulmate, Mark Pierce; sister, Betty Hunter McKean and her husband, Randy McKean; niece, Mary Beth Selander, and her husband, Brian Selander along with their children, Mayson, Boyd, Hunter, and Walker; nephews, Drew Pritchard, and Cameron Chumley, along with host of extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life to honor Ms. Elizabeth “Libby” Dickenson Pritchard will be held at a later date.
