David Francis Boyd Edwards

He was born to the late Alice B. and David M. Edwards on May 23, 1932 in Govan, Scotland. David grew up in Scotland and Wales until 1952 when he came to America to be with his parents and sister. He served for 2 years in the Royal Air Force before coming to America. David enjoyed being active and took part in many water sports, traveling, playing tennis and reading. On his travels, David enjoyed visiting lighthouses, train museums, and the beach.

His memory will be cherished by his beloved wife, Edith; children, Karen Edwards, Warren Hiers, Kimberly Huntley, and Michael Edwards; grandchildren, Jacob, Caleb, Elijah, Adam, Mikayla, Rachel, Christian, Pierce, Delaney, Blakely; and great-grandchildren, Gianna, Tucker and Roland, his sister Gladys Lackey and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 5, 2023 from 6-8pm at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Rd, Roswell, GA 30076. There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at 11:00am at the Roswell Funeral Home Chapel.
