In 1986, he moved his family from Queens, New York to build a new home in Deltona where he lived until moving to Johns Creek in 2017. While in Florida, Carl worked for Metal Manufactures and Wal-Mart.
Carl met the love of his life, Rita Morris in San Juan, Trinidad when they were in teenagers in high school. The two wed in New York in May 1966. He enjoyed traveling and creating lasting memories with her. Their love created and nurtured two loving daughters, Lisa and Abigail.
