Brenda Ann Stewart

New Orleans, LA on October 18th, 1939 and was a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. She

was a hard worker holding down multiple jobs and earned two retirements while living

on the river in St. Amant, LA. Her home was always full and she never met a stranger.

She was a devoted, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who took

pleasure in being surrounded by her family and friends. She was married to Carl

Ronald Stewart for 55 years and had five children together. The Celebration of Life will

be held on Saturday, November 5th, 2022 at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida

Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA from 9am-12pm in the Reception Hall. Food and drinks will be

provided.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Ronald Stewart, her son, Joseph Paul

Stewart, her father, Herbert Isaminger Jr., her mother, Olga Bourgeoius Isaminger, her

stepmother, Bernise Smith Isaminger, her sister, Joan VanBuren, her nephew, Darren

Bradley Cross, Matthew Browning, Dustin Gore and Trey Allemond.

Brenda is survived by her four living children- Carl Ronald (Ron) Stewart Jr., Dana

Stewart Gibson and her husband, Jim Gibson, Tamra Stewart Hilburn and her

husband, James Hilburn, and Craig Lewis Stewart and Susan Smith. Her brother,

Herbert L. Isaminger Ill and his husband, Robert Richards, and her sister, Karen Cross

and her husband, Gary Cross, and Vash Ti Isaminger, and her nieces, Sharon Haddad

and her husband, Jon Haddad, Karen Oliver, and her husband, Robert Oliver, Joan

VanBuren, Twila Isaminger and Jennifer Cross. Her daughter-in-laws Tammy Braud and

Karen Lonidier Stewart and extended family, Frank and Gina Lidberg.

She has ten grandchildren and their families- Amber Stewart Chambless and her

husband, Chet, Brittney Stewart, Kristen Gibson Reed and her husband, Adam,

Chelsea Stewart, Sarah Hilburn Gandy and her husband, Jason, Katherine Gibson

Goodie and her husband, Hunter, Christopher Stewart, Lauren Hilburn Allemond and

her husband, Andrew, Shelby Stewart Theriot and her husband, Kendall, and Kimberly

Gibson.

Her great grandchildren are Logan and Gabe Chambless, Alexander and Elijah Stewart,

Colton, Caden and Carleigh Reed, Hawk Browning, Amelia, Harrison and Baby Gandy,

Archer Goodie, Emma, Easton, Evelyn and Elise Allemond, Hilari, Tucker and Kamryn

Theriot, Hunter Gore, Haidyn Stewart, and Hayes Landry. Brenda loved everyone

around her and took many of the neighbors and family friends in her house as her own.
