Amelia Rose Harman Weathers was welcomed into this world at exactly 7:30pm on February 26, 2021. She was eagerly awaited by her loving mother, two enthusiastic big brothers, her father, and a large family excited to meet her — ten aunts, eleven uncles, twenty-six cousins, one grandparent and four great-grandparents. She was an immediate spark of strength and sweetness with the slightest touch of sass, just like the great-grandmother for whom she was named.
Amelia Rose’s days on earth, though few, were as full and complete as any life — love and happiness were hers — she snuggled close with her mommy, received countless hugs and kisses from her family, listened as her two adoring brothers sang her songs and fought over who held her first, and heard “I love you” an uncountable amount of times. She spread a lifetime of joy and sunshine to everyone who met her.
In the early morning of March 28th, 2021, Amelia Rose passed from this world. Although heartbroken, we are grateful for the perfect gift of her life and the precious days we were able to hold and love on her this side of heaven.
Amelia Rose will always remain “mama’s baby girl”, and she will be forever remembered in our hearts. We look forward to the day when we are reunited.
Amelia Rose is survived by her mother, Esther Clark Weathers; her father, Michael Seth Weathers; her brothers, Michael Grady and Rearden; her maternal grandmother, Marjorie Moss Clark; her maternal great-grandmother, Susan Harman Alou; her paternal great-grandmother Fan King; her paternal great-grandparents Grady and JoAnn Weathers
