Michael Floyd Bronson, (Micky) 71, died unexpectedly on November 15, 2022, of pulmonary complications, surrounded by friends and family while deer hunting Up North. Micky was born February 6, 1951, in Detroit MI, the youngest child of Russell and Irene Bronson.
Micky graduated from Roseville High School and went on to attend Michigan State University and Schoolcraft College. He served with the U.S Navy Reserves. He had a daughter with his first wife, Peggy Hickman. They later divorced and Micky remarried, Joan Morris and went on to have 3 children together during their 42 years of marriage. He served as fire fighter for 28 years and retired as Lieutenant of the Roseville Fire Department. He also owned his own catering company, Magic Meals and ran NCYC Friday night dinners for 21 years. Micky loved to golf, play cards and travel. He was loved by all that knew him, always had a smile on his face, helped anyone in need without question and loved his family with every fiber of his being.
Micky was predeceased by his immediate family: Russell and Irene Bronson (Father and Mother), Nancy Terrian (sister), Dennis Bronson (brother), William (Mary) Bronson (brother), David Bronson (brother) and Pamela Nassar (sister). He is survived by his wife, Joan Bronson, and children Jennifer (Matt) Pavich, Jane Rice (Aaron), Patrick Bronson (Kate), and Daniel Bronson (Patti), his grandchildren, Samantha Pavich, Sean Pavich, Henry Bronson and Norah Bronson, his older sister Linda Lamky, his niece Kari Grasl as well as 21 other nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Kaul Funeral Home at 27830 Gratiot Ave, Roseville MI 48066 from 12pm-5pm on Sunday December 4, 2022. An informal service will be held at 4pm during the visitation.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made in Micky’s honor to The Salvation Army.
