Matthew Martin “Matt” Smith, 26, of Roseville, passed away July 26, 2011 at home. Matt was a graduate of Roseville High School in 2003. He was a proud, hardworking Automotive Technician with a passion for what he accomplished. He once commented that he enjoyed history and all things historical and that if he hadn't chosen to work with cars he would have wanted be a history teacher. Matt was much loved by his friends and family including his parents, Debbie (nee: DeCaluwe) Smith (Ron Riggins) and Terry Smith (Barb Koszegi), sister, Cressie (Bryan) Boggs, niece, Olivia Boggs and girlfriend, Andrea “Annie” Voakes. Matt was pre-deceased by his grandparents: Jean & Morris DeCaluwe and Jane & Doug Combs.
Friends may visit Sunday from 12:00 (Noon) until time of the Memorial Service, 1:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home 27830 Gratiot Avenue, Roseville. Memorial donations may be made to Narcotics Anonymous – Metro Detroit Region, 726 Livernois Avenue, Ferndale, Michigan 48220.
