Jack L. Cargill, age 94, returned to his Heavenly home on April 28, 2020 after a long and stubborn battle with an ongoing health issue. A love for baseball, vanilla ice cream and most of all, his family, were the trademarks of his life! Jack had such a sweet soul and kind heart, especially to those who were hurting or less fortunate. His love and faith in Jesus Christ as His Savior was the single most beautiful gift he passed down to his children and grandchildren.
Jack was born to the late Walter and Pearl (Weaver) Cargill on February 12, 1926 in Roseville MI. There he grew up with his loving parents and his three older brothers attending Roseville schools and later joining the army. His life wasn't free of pain or trials but Jack knew that the purpose of life is so much bigger than just the here and now. Jack was blessed with a son and a daughter, three grandchildren and one great granddaughter. He absolutely adored time spent with his family and had the opportunity to live with his daughter and her children for many of the latter years of his life. Jack enjoyed watching his grandchildren grow up and being involved in their lives every step of the way. He will be missed dearly by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him!
Jack is survived by his son, Patrick Cargill; his daughter, Kimberly Eastman and her fiancé, Raymond Blarek; Granddaughters, Justine Agee and Alayna Eastman; Grandson, Shane Agee; Great Granddaughter, Lucy Agee; Sister In Law Juliette Cargill and many nieces, nephews and cousins that he loved dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Pearl Cargill; brother JD Cargill and sister in law Mary Cargill; brother Billy Cargill and Brother Wayne Cargill and sister in law Grayce Cargill.
