Deborah Louann Joslin. Age 68, of Roseville, MI, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 8, 2021. Debbie was born in Wyandotte, MI, on September 20, 1953, to the late Carol (Grams) Holton. She married Buzz Joslin on December 31, 1980.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Buzz; children Annette Diamond-Weiler; Cynthia Leahy (Steve); Dawn Williams (Lannie); grandchildren Haley Diamond, Noelle Leahy, Destiny Weiler, Anna & Emma Williams; siblings Sandra Morales; Lonnie (Sue) Holton; Les (Pat) Holton; and many nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her mother Carol Holton, her nephew David Morales Jr, and her best friend Carol Horn, whom she missed very much.
Debbie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She and Buzz both came from broken homes, but they tried to fit their broken pieces together. As Debbie said, “We loved each other the best way we knew how.” As for her children, Debbie raised them to know that no matter what mistakes they made, she always loved them unconditionally. She adored her grandchildren and affectionately called them her munchkins. To her granddaughters she was simply “Grand.”
Debbie was kind and considerate. She made everyone feel loved and accepted. She loved gardening and spending time in her yard. She cherished time with her family and friends – especially her granddaughters. She loved to play games, sing silly songs, and send her loved ones corny jokes. Debbie was very strong in her faith. She always said she was well taken care of by God. Now she has a front row parking spot, and she’s in heaven with Jesus.
