We want to celebrate the life of Connor David McMahon, 23. Connor was born on September 13, 1999 and was promoted to Heaven on June 13, 2023. He was a lifelong resident of Roseville, MI. He graduated from Fraser High School in 2017 and was an Early College of Macomb graduate in 2018. But what Connor was most proud of was that he was a graduate of The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 2021. Connor graduated with a degree in secondary education and had a teaching certificate for Social Studies.
Connor had just finished his first year of teaching at his alma mater and loved what he was doing. The beloved Social Studies teacher at Fraser High School and summer day camp counselor (Grandma to the kids) at the Recreational Authority of Roseville and Eastpointe will be missed by all who came in contact with him.
Connor loved the Lord and loved his family. His favorite scripture was Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” He had many passions including U of M sports of any kind (GO BLUE), Star Wars, Marvel (especially Spiderman), video games, classic rock music, and movies. If you were Connor’s friend you were his best friend. He made certain to be there for everyone in his life including his students.
Connor made such an impact in his short time on this Earth. He would want you to strive to do the same. Because after all, “You know, I guess one person CAN make a difference…’nuff said.”
He is survived by his parents Corey and Kathleen McMahon, and brother Carter and his grandparents Richard McMahon and Barbara King. He was preceded in death by Grandmother Linda McMahon and his Papa Rev. Clarence King.
