Arlene Marie Hart of Roseville, passed away on July 2, 2022. She was 87. Arlene spent much of her life in the home her father built in Roseville, Michigan. She went to Sacred Heart Elementary School and graduated from Dominican Catholic High School. Her dad had peonies planted throughout the yard that she loved, and then added her own signature touch with beautiful geranium plants throughout the yard and porch. We shared many family dinners together made up of Fish Fries, City-Chicken, Chicken Broccoli and her famous Au-gratin potatoes. When the grandkids came along, we had Easter Egg Hunts and Halloween parties where grandma joined in the dress up. Arlene loved bird watching, spending afternoons watching the freighters go by in the St. Clair River and looking up the ship’s cargo. We were blessed to have Arlene as long as we did and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Arlene is survived by her sons; Charles (Mary), John, Ronald and Brian. Cherished Grandmother to Kyle (Norah) Hart, Michael (Danielle) Hart, Brienne (Michael) McAndrews, Kaitlyn (Shady) Haddad, Brian Hart, Riley (Amanda) Hart, Megan (Shane) Breckling, Tyler Hart, and Kara Hart. Beloved Great Grandmother to Jack, Marielle, Julie, Barrett, Annabella, Colt and Lena. Also survived by her former daughter in laws Kristine Westhoff, Kimberly Mckernan, and many good and life-long friends as she had no siblings of her own. Arlene is preceded in death by her parents, John and Helen Hoenig, daughter Helen Geister, long-time companion Gary Lewis, and former husband Charles Hart.
