John was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 14, 1951, the son of the late Juan Pardo, Sr. and Shirley Izquierdo Pardo. John was an entrepreneur as a child and always kept expanding his businesses. During his life he owned and operated many businesses from restaurants to plumbing and real estate. Some of his businesses included Chichi’s Pizza, John Pardo Hauling, Able Speedy Plumbing, Giovanni of Brooklyn Italian Restaurant, Plumbing Express, Pardo and Son Plumbing, Adia’s Latin Food, Adia’s Express, Alaina’s Thrift shop, Summerville Paint and Tool Rental, Dixie Subs & More, and Real Estate Investments. He was a member of the Elk’s Park Lodge in Winter Park, Florida and the inventor of the Toilet Flange Safety Cover.
He is survived by his son, John Pardo III and his wife Jennifer; his grandchildren, Adia Pardo, John Joseph Pardo, and Alaina Pardo; his brother, Robert Pardo (Judy); his sisters, Sonya Pardo and Leslie Pardo (Joey); and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Linda Pardo and Lilly Pardo.
A Celebration of Life service will be held later in Florida.
