Daniel Louis Steketee , age 59 of Rome, died April 10, 2014 at a local medical facility. Dan was born on September 26, 1954 in Grand Rapids, MI, so on the late Robert and Anne Abbott.
He was a 1972 graduate of Okemos High School and 1977 graduate of Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dan was employed by Southeastern Mills of Rome for 22 years.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years Allison Robinson Steketee of Rome; sons Nicholas James Steketee (Rochelle) of Kennesaw; Christopher Parker Steketee (Alyssa) of Conyers; brother Robert C. Steketee (Becky) of Michigan; sister Sarah Smith (Ken) of Michigan; sister-in-law Tracy Gerres of Maryland; grandson Parker Louis Steketee of Conyers; nieces and nephews.
There will be no funeral services. Daniels Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
