Wanda Louise Williams, 79, of Rogers, passed away Sunday January 16, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born April 10, 1942, in Bentonville, Arkansas to the late Loy and Norma Dale. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Alma Joyce Scott and a brother, Wayne Dale. She graduated from Bentonville High School in 1960 then started to work at Daisy Manufacturing, where she met the love of her life, Kermit. They were married for 55 years. Their marriage was blessed with two daughters, Shannon and Kim. She was a homemaker and worked for Walmart for over 20 years. After retirement, she enjoyed working in her flower gardens, camping, traveling, and taking pictures. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. She spent her last years playing bingo, doing jigsaw puzzles, and attending Bible study at Katherine’s Place. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in December of 1973 and was a member of Temple Baptist Church of Rogers, Arkansas. Her favorite Bible verse was Proverbs 3:5,6 “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Kermit Williams; two daughters, Shannon (Scott) Pitts of Bentonville, Arkansas and Kimberli (Steven) Fulfer of Rogers, Arkansas; five grandkids, Spencer (Sydney) Pitts, Samuel Pitts, Eli, Chloe, and Seth Fulfer; and one great granddaughter-to-be Eloise Pitts. Visitation will be Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Rollins Funeral Home from 5-7pm. A private graveside service will be held for the family.
