Bob Flowers, 61, of Centerton, Arkansas, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born on August 22, 1959 in Kingston, New York, although he grew up in Southern California, to the late Harold and Marie Flowers. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a nephew.
Bob is survived by his wife, Mary Flowers of Centerton, Arkansas, his four children: Corey Flowers of Centerton, Ashley Stamps of Jay, OK, Arthur Flowers of Fayetteville, his four-legged baby, Ophelia; four grandchildren Hale, Marisa, Ivey, and Boyd; his three sisters Edythe Flowers of California, Rosemary Schifferling of Oregon, Michelle Flowers of California and numerous nieces, nephews and other loved family members.
Bob and Mary met as teenagers 44 years ago, married in 1987 and celebrated their 34th anniversary in April. The love he had for his wife, his children and grandchildren was deep and never-ending. He was a diehard LA Dodger, Rams and bacon fan. He was a major jokester and loved to laugh. He was happiest when he was spending time with his family and close friends.
Over the last 20+ years he poured himself into work in the cable industry as a beloved coworker. Bob was looking forward to retirement and all the things he and Mary had planned. He was a kind soul, an extremely hard worker and loved taking care of people.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 30, 2021 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM with a Celebration of Bob's Life taking place at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 1, 2021, both at Rollins Funeral Home, Rogers, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers, Bob would have liked any donations to be made to Hospice Circle of Life, or any children’s hospital.
