Debra Jean Glasscock of Bella Vista entered into rest on August 17, 2016. She was born on November 3, 1957 in Kansas City, Kansas to Rev. James and Norma Foster. She was the beloved wife of Kenneth Glasscock.
Debra attended Shawnee Mission Northwest High School, where she graduated with honors. She then went on to graduate with honors from Johnson County and Fort Scott Community Colleges, both in Kansas. On December 6, 1975 she married Kenneth Glasscock in Leavenworth Kansas, and loved him for the rest of her life. She was a member of Bella Vista Community Church.
Debra will be remembered as a vibrant, tenacious woman who brightened every life she touched. She enjoyed studying the Bible, traveling, University of Kansas basketball, and making her house a home. She was a member of the Hope Happens Here Cancer Support Group.
She is survived by her husband; her mother; sons, Luke Glasscock and wife Alyssa of Mountain Home, Nathan Glasscock and wife Megan of Seattle, Wa.; grandchildren Harlan and Wilhelmina Glasscock; brother, Leland Foster and wife Julie of Joplin, Mo.; nephew, Leland Foster, Jr.; niece, Christina Foster Duly; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 19, at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Bella Vista Community Church. A reception will follow the service. Burial will take place at 1:00 p.m. in Bella Vista Memorial Gardens.
