He was born in Brooklyn, New York to Stephen and Julia Wojcik. As a young man he served our country in the US Navy aboard the USS Lake Champlain. He served the City of New York starting as a Police Officer, then transitioning to Firefighter. Proudly attaining the rank of Lieutenant, he retired after 25 years of service. In his retired years he greatly loved disco and ballroom dancing and spent a good deal of time taking lessons and attending social dance club gatherings. As a devoted Tampa Bay Rays fan, baseball season was his favorite time of year. He liked to play golf and watch the big tours on TV. Coffee at McDonalds was a key party of his daily routine.
Stephen is survived by his children, Debra Ann Larchar, Stephen Anthony Wojcik, Denise Marie Hall, Morgana Lee Crotty, nine grandsons, one great-grandson, and sisters Josephine Bianculli and Arlene Lampropoulos.
Family was his top priority in this life. As a father, he was humble, generous and always emulated peacefulness and simplicity. As a man of strong Christian Faith, he was patient and kind toward others and loved to give away smiles.
Services will be held at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial Gardens in Rockledge with visitation at 10:00 am and Prayer Service at 11:00 am.
