Sharyn is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Lee Phillips; her two daughters, Jennie Phillips and Amanda Phillips; and her cherished grandchildren, Jaxon and Mackenzie. She was a devoted wife, a caring mother, and a proud grandmother, whose kindness and feisty, sarcastic sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Born in Portland, Maine, Sharyn spent much of her life dedicated to education and helping others learn. She worked as an educator and tutor in Livermore, California, touching the lives of countless students with her patience, warmth, and encouragement. In 2017, she and her husband moved to Melbourne, Florida from Discovery Bay, California, to enjoy their retirement.
A private family gathering will be held in her honor.
