Mildred Mae Hildreth, age 96, of Cocoa, FL passed into eternal rest on January 15, 2019. She was born in Carterville, IL on August 13, 1922 and was the daughter of Lela Mae Jones & John Clarence Radford of Daytona Beach, FL. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great great grandmother. For many years she was an active member of Clearlake Baptist Church in Cocoa, FL and then attended First Baptist Church of Merritt Island, FL.
She is survived by her daughters, Loretta Cooper of Pensecola, FL and Ann (Jim) Greever of Merritt Island, FL; sons, George (Ann) Hildreth of Ft Lauderdale, FL and Eric Hildreth of Cocoa, FL; 8 grandchildren, Mike Woodcock, Maria McKenna, Doug Woodcock, Sonya Heater, Kevin Hildreth, Matt Hildreth and Mindy Linkous; 11 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, W.C. "Bud" Hildreth and grandson, Jay Greever.
Mildred was creative and driven to stay busy. Her family was her pride and joy. She enjoyed working with porcelain dolls & ceramics, sewing, reading, gardening, as well as bowling and traveling while she was able. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Florida Memorial Gardens.
A Visitation and Memorial Service will be held Sunday, January 20, 2019 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm with the service starting at 2:00pm at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 South US highway 1, Rockledge, FL followed by interment.
