Born June 1, 1935, in Woonsocket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Fleurette (Hebert) Manocchio.
June is survived by her husband Louis and three children, James and his wife Patricia of Vero Beach, FL, Christine Ashe and her husband Gary of Canton, GA and Jane Dale of Rockledge, FL. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Nicholas, Eric, James, Connor, Madeline and Sarah and six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers, Paul and John Manocchio.
She graduated from Woonsocket High School in 1952 and went to work at Mason Preston in Woonsocket, RI in the office. She married Louis in 1954 and was an exceptional home maker. She would bring meals to her husband who worked long hours at his pharmacy on Park Avenue in Woonsocket. June took art lessons and created many beautiful oil paintings in her spare time.
June and Louis moved to Pompano Beach, FL in 1981 and then to Viera FL in 1998 to be near their children and grandchildren. June played tennis and loved to go shopping. She was always helping her family and others that needed her assistance. Taking care of nieces and nephews as well as her grandchildren and parents, she could always be counted on to lend a helping hand, cook a meal or just be there when she was needed.
A memorial service will be held at The Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 South US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL on Monday, January 29, 2024 at 11 am with a viewing prior to the service from 10:00 am to 11 am.
