JoAnn Williams

JoAnn is survived by her husband of 61 years, John Henry Williams, Jr.; daughter, Sandra W. Smith; sons, Matthew S. Williams and Jeff T. Williams (predeceased); son-in-law, Michael L. Smith; daughter-in-law, Karen L. Williams; grandchildren, Lyle R. Smith, Katherine M. Williams, Joni L. Juhnke; and great-granddaughter, Julianna M. Smith. One of eight children of Harvey and Verna Hershey, she is also survived by sisters, Mary Ann Kuhn, Vera Moore and a large and loving family.

JoAnn and John moved to Melbourne in 1964, where she began working at JC Penney Co., retiring after 29 years. JoAnn then began volunteering at various community organizations and working with her orchids. She traveled abroad and kept in touch with family and friends.

Since moving to Melbourne, JoAnn was also an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Melbourne, participating as a choir member and numerous support projects.

Interment will be at Florida Memorial Gardens with a private family service.
