I always enjoy looking at photos of our family.   Mom made sure we got to see the world and enjoy it.    I remember her talking about when we all had the measles she knew we were sick because we did not move much.   Now that I have raised two boys with Holly, I am in awe of how mom raised the five of us with Dad gone serving our country.   All five of us are relatively happy and successful.   Thanks mom,

I will remember Mom for her kind heart. I'm not sure that people know about some of the things she did for others, quietly for years.  Every year, at Christmas time, she would take several wish lists off of angel trees and spend time finding the best gifts to fulfill those wishes.   She sponsored a child in South America until he was eighteen years old and she spent years delivering meals on wheels.  But she didn't just provide the meals, she would stay and visit with each person she gave a meal to.  She would tell me how lonely they were and how much they needed someone to talk to.   Her smile and love for her family and others will be missed.
