Hi mom!! I miss you so much. 😭😭💐💐💐💐💔💔💔💔💔. I need you more then anything here with me right now but, I know you’re doing what you can to watch over me. I love you so much.

Today is my moms one year anniversary and a reminder of a special sole that I miss so much . She’s carried me for nine months, she taught and carried me through life on her back. I carried her with me for one year on my back but it could never amount to what she’s done for me, unconditionally, relentlessly never saying no and developing my inner core to be spiritually sound! There were days where she became heavy to carry, but I look back as far as I could remember, and I know I was heavy weight in her arms, but she never left me or sat me down! I was never too heavy for my mom that she allowed me to see!!! She taught my legs to stand and hold on even when I became weak and loss of strength. I am standing today doing what she wanted , what her wishes were abs heart desired  and my legs are standing solid!!   I will fulfill her wish of resting with my dad, Julius, in New York! A double painful day to see my mom and dad together. 💔💔😭🙏🏽🙏🏽.  Love you and miss you  much.

came to our house as a young woman looking for a job as a housekeeper, Julius hired her and told her she also needed to cook and that she did very well every night (it wasn’t just about fried chicken and collards). Daddy paid her $100 a week and she used that money to put more food on the table unless she was buying plants and shrubs for our home - our home was the envy of the neighborhood.  Mama also moved hundreds of pounds of plaster to the street when we were rebuilding our beautiful house in South Freeport,  New York.  Mama also used her money to go to college and got her Nursing degree and with that money she helped pay the bills because this was her home and her family that she loved so much.  She also brought me a baby brother Derrell who also has his mamas love -  it’s endless.  Mama loved her five children Marilyn, Bobby, Laura, Michael and Derrell.  She brought happiness, music and dance into our house. Her love will never be forgotten because her love lives through her children forever.  God bless you Mama in heaven; never forgotten just heartbroken here in Florida. Mama you leave children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sorry Mama you can’t take your Thunderbirds with you (Mama and Daddy loved their cars.)
