Marie loved her family fiercely. With a strong will and determination, she dedicated herself to raising her children, always putting their safety, health, and well-being first. While navigating the challenges of military life, she created a nurturing environment in which they could grow. No matter what challenges they faced in life, they knew they always had a soft place to land at home with Mom.
She was actively involved in the lives of her grandchildren and great grandchildren, who have many fond memories of her strong, kind, and supportive presence in their lives. She could always be counted on to help when needed, and joyously celebrated all their important milestones and achievements. Her greatest joy in life was being with and supporting her big family.
Marie lived a life filled with love, warmth, and dedication, touching the hearts of everyone she encountered. She was quick to make friends with her sweet and gentle disposition. A caregiver by nature, she took many children into her home over the years as a daycare provider, ensuring that those children were well-loved and cared for.
She had a radiant smile, a mischievous sense of humor, and loved making people laugh. In her leisure time, Marie enjoyed reading, completing puzzles, and watching her “stories.” These simple joys brought her peace and happiness, which she graciously shared with others.
Marie’s legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering support will live on in the hearts of her family and the countless friends she made throughout her life. She will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
