Connie was born to Orval and Wilma Pitsenbarger on October 29, 1957 in Davenport, Iowa. She was the valedictorian of the 1976 Pleasant Valley High School Graduating Class, received a BA from the University of Iowa in 1980 and a MBA from University of Michigan in 1983. Shortly after graduation she moved from her hometown of LeClaire, Iowa to Brevard County, Florida. She worked in the Financial Department at Harris Government Systems. After 12 years at Harris, Connie chose to become a full-time devoted mother and housewife.
Connie was an active member of Suntree United Methodist Church. She served as a Girl Scout Troop Leader in the Citris Council for 9 years. Connie’s interest and work in genealogy provided her an opportunity to become a member of the Daughter’s of the American Revolution (DAR).
Survivors include: husband, Keighley Ross, children: Alex Ross and Elizabeth (James) Powell, grandchild; Layla Powell, mother; Wilma Pitsenbarger, Eldridge, Iowa, siblings; Susan (Mark) Arrasmith of LeClaire, IA, Karen Baber of Rock Island, IL and John (Nancy) Pitsenbarger of Maynardville, TN, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Orval Pitsenbarger and nephew, Matthew Arrasmith.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday August 21st, 2019 at 6:30pm at Suntree United Methodist Church, 7400 North Wickham Road, Melbourne Florida 32940.
