Christina L. Buffkin

She was born in Evansville, Indiana on May 29, 1944. Chris was a longtime resident of Brevard County, founder of Buffkin Tile Supply in 1983, and one of the original founding Directors of Community Bank of the South.

Chris leaves behind her husband, Robert E. Buffkin, who were wed June 27, 1961; one daughter, Anna Buffkin; three grandchildren, Jacob Mathias Buffkin, Bryce Buffkin, Brooke Buffkin; one sister, four brothers, their spouses and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Virgalee Jackson; father, Leo McCrarey; and sister.

She was an ambitious professional who lived life to the fullest. She loved the outdoors, flying airplanes, golfing, horses, and most of all, driving her Corvette. However, her pride and joy was her family, the business and the bank. All who knew her will forever remember her joyfulness.

Viewing services will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 South US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL. Her Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial.
