Almeta Miller Strasser

Her eyes are now whole and she can see the heaven she so longed for these last years.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years, Robert Jacob Strasser, her parents William and Bessie Miller and her brother Dale Miller.

She was a precious mother to Gary Paul Strasser (Vicky), Brenda Lea Harshman (Keith) and Robert Miller Strasser (Marylynn) and beloved Mama to 6 grandchildren, Lisa, Brian, Amanda, Benjamin, Christian, and Taylor. and to 8 great-grandchildren Landon, Skyler, Sawyer, Shepherd, Magnolia, Colette, Juliette and a new angel to come in February.

We want to thank Home Instead for their 24 hour care these last months, But most of all we want to thank Karla and Pat, Janet and Charlie, and her other precious neighbors for their gifts of conversation, food, and love. You loved her well, you are angels here on earth, when we could not always be present... Gary, Brenda and Rob, will never forget how you sacrificed your time to be available to our mother. God bless you all the days of your life.

Almeta loved living in Florida, she moved here several times before the final move in 1979. She loved worshiping and over these last years when she could not see, she listened to the saints who preached Gods word over the radio. She is now walking with those saints in heaven.

What a joy it must have been for her to see clearly with her new eyes, to close her eyes here on earth and open them in heaven.

A Celebration of Almeta will be held in Cincinnati, Ohio at Oak Hill Cemetery, 11200 Princeton Pike 45246, Thursday ,October 10th. Visitation is at 12 noon with Burial to follow at 1:00 PM.
