Vonda J. Leach, age 87, of Rockford, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. Vonda was born in Arkansas on December 19, 1936 to Arthur and Hattie Keelin. In 1952 Vonda married the love of her life Vanas J.W. Leach. Vonda enjoyed crocheting, gardening and looking back in history to find her genealogy.
Vonda is survived by her daughter, JoVita (Dennis Williams) Maxwell; grandchildren, Kevin (Dana) Gantz of Michigan, Chris Gantz of Alabama, Amanda Maxwell of Illinois; great grandchildren, Mikyle, Landyn, Kaidyn, Ryland, Ryker, Luca, Prestyn, Ariana, Linkyn, Charlotte and Xavier Gantz; Hayden, Jeremy, and Taylon Smith; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vanas J.W. Leach; daughter, Deborah Gantz; grandchildren, Jennifer and Kira Gantz; parents, Arthur and Hattie Keelin; siblings, Faye Hudson, Wilma, and Charles Keelin.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
